Every game publishes a return to player figure, and in unusual variants it is spread unevenly across the available bets rather than sitting in one place. On a sic bo table, the small and big bets carry a moderate edge while some triple bets carry a very large one — on the same felt, in the same round.
That is why the useful question is never «is this game good» but «is this bet good». A single table can hold both the best and the worst price in the room.

- The exact bet, not the game. Read the payout and probability of the wager you intend to place, because they differ across the same table.
- Whether a side bet is optional. It almost always is, and it almost always carries the worse edge.
Demo mode tells you the rules, not the risk
A play-for-fun version runs on the same certified software, so it is a reliable way to learn a sequence of actions. What it cannot convey is variance: a short demo session is as likely to run well as badly, and neither outcome says anything about the next hundred rounds.
